Aiden ten Velden
AI Consultant
I help businesses put AI to work, from production agents to the infrastructure they run on. Practical, senior-level consulting for teams that want results, not slideware.
- AI agents
- Secure infrastructure
- AI strategy
Build, ship, and consult on the things businesses are figuring out right now.
-
Production AI agents
Agents that ship real work — tool use, memory, evaluation loops, guardrails. Built to run unattended, not to demo well.
-
Coding with AI
Embedding Claude, Cursor, and modern AI workflows into engineering teams so you ship multiples faster — without compromising code quality or review discipline.
-
Full-stack engineering
TypeScript, React, Next, Astro, Node, Postgres. End-to-end ownership from schema to UI to deploy pipeline.
-
Databases & data infrastructure
Schema design, migrations that don’t break prod, query performance tuning, vector stores for retrieval. Postgres, SQLite, Pinecone, pgvector.
-
Servers & secure infrastructure
Provision, harden, and maintain Linux servers and cloud infra to current SOC 2 security standards. Observability, zero-downtime deploys, automated backups, incident response.

AI strategy for business
For teams figuring out where AI fits and where it doesn’t. From audit and roadmap through to first production rollout — measured in outcomes, not pilots.
I'm Aiden ten Velden — I build AI systems that survive contact with real users, real load, and real audits.
Years of building complex software end-to-end — databases, backends, frontends, and the servers they all run on. These days most of that work has AI threaded through it: production agents, retrieval pipelines, internal tools that quietly take work off people's plates.
I treat infrastructure the same way I treat code: provisioned, hardened, and maintained to current SOC 2 standards. Observability, automated backups, zero-downtime deploys — the kind of foundation that lets you sleep when you're on call.
On the consulting side I work with businesses figuring out where AI actually fits — and where it doesn't. The goal isn't slideware. It's systems that ship and keep shipping.
